The two companies yesterday signed a ten-year deal to share marketing investment and profits in the cider and beer. C&C Group said the agreement "will strengthen competitiveness, marketing and route to market".

Financial details have not been disclosed.

C&C Group and CCA first announced a partnership in August 2013. Under the agreement, C&C brands were distributed in New Zealand and the Pacific region by CCA, where it already handles Molson Coors labels. The deal did not include CCA's home Australian market.

This week's announcement is C&C Group's second international partnership this month after it signed a deal with Pabst Brewing Co to distribute its brands in the UK and Ireland. C&C Group will also distribute Small Town Brewing's Not Your Father's Root Beer in Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland, the first time the alcoholic root beer has been sold outside of the US.
