Mott's Inc., a subsidiary of Cadbury-Schweppes PLC, has agreed to acquire US-based Carteret Packaging Inc. for $14.8m. In a press release issued by Cadbury Schweppes, the acquisition is designed to improve logistics for its North American beverage business. Carteret Packaging bottles Snapple products and currently employs 150 people.
