Brown-Forman has released an "old style" peated Port wood whisky from its The GlenDronach distillery. "The GlenDronach Peated Port Wood may be considered a surprising expression from this distillery but in keeping with historical styles," said whisky maker Rachel Barrie "Peat imbues the spirit with regional notes of wood smoke and smouldering charcoal, layered over The GlenDronach's archetypal fruitiness."

The GlenDronach Peated Port Wood is bottled at 46% abv, non-chill filtered and of natural colour.

In August, Brown-Forman announced its second collaboration with movie Kingsman: The Golden Circle, launching a special-edition Scotch whisky from GlenDronach distillery. Kingsman Edition 1991 Vintage shares a birthday with the main character in the Kingsman and was chosen by the film's director, Michael Vaughn.
