Brown-Forman has lined up the release of new Woodford Reserve pack designs to the UK market.

The company said today that the UK roll out follows changes already made in the US.  Brown-Forman has redesigned the whole portfolio, with "significant updates" for Woodford Reserve Double Oaked whiskey and "more discreet changes" for the rest of the brand family.

Woodford Reserve Double Oaked will move to a shorter, wider bottle, with a heavy glass base, the firm said. The new bottles will be distributed across the UK market from this month.

"We believe that this re-design will help to demonstrate Woodford's commitment to innovation, whilst also cementing the brand as a leader in the super premium spirits category with a more modern, contemporary look," said UK brand manager Georgia Donmall.

Last week, Brown-Forman announced the national roll-out of its Jack Daniel's Tennessee Rye brand across the US.
