Brown Forman Wines International is spending over £500,000 (US$719,000) on two advertisements, in its first ever UK advertising campaign.

The advertisements will appear in weekend broadsheet press and selected consumer magazines with the intention of building Fetzer's awareness and premium image with its target UK consumer.

Simon Legge, European marketing director for Brown Forman said: "The campaign highlights Fetzer's San Franciscan attitude to life and back to fundamentals approach to winemaking.

"The title of the campaign 'True To Our Roots' also reflects this. The advertisements depict real-life faces of Fetzer employees, expressing sentiments that sum up the Fetzer philosophy," he added.
