Britvic's adult beverage unit, Wisehead Productions, has entered the pink drinks category with a new mixer for its London Essence Co range.

Pomelo & Pink Pepper Tonic Water is the latest addition to the London Essence portfolio, which was launched by Wisehead in November 2016. It targets rising demand for flavoured tonics and the popularity of pink drinks, especially among Millennials.

"Drinkers are now increasingly open to experimenting with interesting combinations and tastes to suit their own palate," said Wisehead founder Ounal Bailey. "Our aim is to give bartenders another inspiring choice of tonic in their repertoire which allows them to deliver the perfect citrus spiced pink cocktail this season."

The London Essence Co collection includes: Classic London Tonic; Grapefruit and Rosemary Tonic; Bitter Orange and Elderflower Tonic; Delicate Ginger Ale; Perfectly Spiced Ginger Beer; Soda Water; Rhubarb and Cardamom Crafted Soda and Grapefruit and Lemon Verbena Crafted Soda. All flavours are under 20 calories per 10cl.

Britvic launched Wisehead Productions in 2016 to target the adult soft drinks market as trends towards lower alcohol consumption increase in Europe.
