Britvic's Lipton Ice Tea campaign will run for nine weeks

Britvic is to launch a GBP1 (US$1.6m) marketing campaign for its Lipton Ice Tea brand in the UK.

The campaign, which launches from the beginning of June, will include a national sampling programme, PR and digital activity, the soft drinks firm said today (27 May). The strapline, ‘Don't knock it, until you've tried it', will be used throughout the nine-week promotion.

Sampling events will take place in nine UK cities, during which consumers can win GBP250 worth of Red Letter Day vouchers. A Facebook page for Lipton Ice Tea will also offer a competition to win the vouchers.

In addition to the campaign, Britvic has launched its Lipton Ice Tea in a 25cl glass bottle with an RRP of GBP1.90.
