The company said yesterday that the "festive blend" will be the subject of a UK TV commercial in the lead up to Christmas. The ad, which features 'brand ambassador' Mojo the Alpaca, will air from now until 31 December.

Glitterberry, which is a blend of grape, cherry, winter spices and edible gold glitter, is described by Britvic as a "Christmas staple".

"We really want to elevate J2O Glitterberry this Christmas, so not only have we brought it back to shelves sooner, but we're excited to launch its first dedicated TV ad since 2011," said Phil Sanders, Britvic's GB commercial director for at-home, "Consumer research has shown positive feedback not only regarding Mojo the Alpaca, but also the Glitterberry variant which we hope will signal even more popularity for the new advert and in turn boost incremental sales in the grocery sector."

The brand carries an RSP of GBP4.39 (US$5.70) per four pack.
