Britvic has launched the first TV ad to feature its J2O Spritz soft drinks brand.

?The company said the campaign includes three different executions that include Spritz, as well as the core J2O range, in a party atmosphere. The carbonated J2O Spritz was rolled out in the UK last year.

Kevin McNair, GB marketing director for Britvic Soft Drinks, said: "We can't wait to bring one of our most iconic brands back to TV screens around the UK. The ad has been created to grab the attention of adult consumers with its subtle humour in order to drive sales in the run-up to Christmas - the brand's biggest selling period."

The campaign cost more than GBP1m (US$1.25m) and launches today. It will run for six weeks across ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and ITV2.
J20 Spritz is available in three flavours - Strawberry & Lime, Apple & Watermelon and Peach & Apricot.

Britvic has upped its focus on adult soft drinks in the past year. In June, the company announced the formation of WiseHead Productions, a unit that will develop drinks for people who don't want to drink alcohol.
