Brewdog said the role will include installing stills

BrewDog is seeking an “experienced distiller” to lay the groundwork for a spirits division at the company.

In an online ad currently on its website, the Scottish craft brewer says it is looking for a distiller that can “take the lead” on developing a spirits unit. The role, which starts next month, also includes new product design and overseeing the instillation of new stills, according to the ad.

A BrewDog spokesperson declined to comment on the division.

BrewDog does not currently manufacture spirits, however, last year, the Ellon-based firm claimed it had created a "new style of spirit" with the launch of the 35% IPA-style Watt Dickie.
