Boulevard Brewing Co is expanding its distribution to South Carolina after agreeing deals with seven wholesalers in the state.

The Kansas-based brewer, which is majority-owned by Belgium's Duvel Moortgat, said its has signed agreements with Lee Distributing, Comer Distributing, Greenco Beverage Co, Beverage South, H&S Wholesalers, Better Brands and Crown Beverages to distribute its brews across the south-east US state. Brands that will be made available includes Boulevard’s Unfiltered Wheat Beer, Pop-Up I.P.A., 80-Acre Hoppy Wheat Beer and Single-Wide I.P.A. 

“The craft beer culture is thriving in the Palmetto State, and our new distribution partners are eager to introduce Boulevard to that community,” said Boulevard’s sales VP, Steve Mills.

South Carolina is the 29th state for Boulevard, having seen rapid expansion this year that includes launches in Florida, New Jersey and Philadelphia.

Boulevard's founders sold a controlling, majority stake to Duvel Moortgat late last year for a reported US$100m.
