The Tasmanian brewery, J Boag & Son, posted a profit of A$534,000 for the year to 26 December 2001, reduced by an A$8.2m write-down resulting from the sale of four Melbourne restaurants. The company reported sales revenues of A$62m. The results were the company's first full-year figures since its acquisition by the San Miguel Corporation in the Philippines.
