Blavod Extreme Spirits has posted a huge leap in case sales for the three months to September. In a trading update issued today (5 October), the UK-based company said that equivalent case sales for the period were up by 137% on a year-on-year basis.

Total case sales in the UK for the period rose by over 55%, led by Blavod Black Vodka with increases in excess of 20% in both the on- and off-trades, with case sales into international markets growing by over 87%.

Case sales in the US market, meanwhile, were up 284%, driven by Players Extreme having increased 210% year-on-year and Blavod Black Vodka increasing 60% for the period.

In the update, Jeff Hopmayer, Blavod's CEO said: "I continue to be extremely encouraged by our trading data, especially as we move into the important back-half selling season, which is traditionally the best trading period for the industry. As I've said in the past, I believe we're making the right investments to grow our brands and create value for our shareholders."

The company will issue full six-month interim results by the end of November.
