Lonnie Tate is to retire as an independent director of Canada's Big Rock Brewery, the Big Rock Brewery Income Trust has announced.
Tate has served as a director of Big Rock since October 2004. His retirement took effect from 18 February.
In making the announcement, the management and board of directors of Big Rock said they wished to thank Tate for "his dedication to the success of Big Rock and his valued contributions to the board".

Last November, the Canadian brewer appointed Colleen McLeod as its new CFO. McLeod replaced Timothy Duffin, who left the company at  the end of last year.
