MORE, the Industry Exchange for online procurement that allows retail buyers to purchase wine, spirits and beer from multiple distributors via the Internet, announced today it has secured agreements to list the portfolios of the nation's top beverage alcohol distributors, representing one third of the nation's $24 billion wholesale wine and spirits market. These agreements position as the pre-eminent e-business provider in every major market in the United States. As a technology partner with these leading distributors, will be creating the industry standard trading platform capable of supporting comprehensive product data and distribution of a wide range of products.

Charmer-Sunbelt Group, Glazer's Wholesale Distributors, Young's Market Company and Romano Brothers Beverage Company, the nation's number two, four, five and twelve distributors respectively, with operations in 19 states and representing almost 20% of the wine and spirit wholesale market share, have elected to use as their sole e-business provider.

"We have seen a lot of companies ending in 'dot-com' knocking on our door over the past few months," stated a spokesperson for Glazer's Wholesale Distributors. "The fact of the matter is, blazed a trail others have attempted to follow. They have been here since before all Wall Street could talk about was B2B. has the most advanced technology and best user interface available, and is the only viable option that really is what they say they are: neutral. I don't want to worry about a competitor getting a hold of my valuable business data." has avoided financial backing from individual distributors, allowing the company to maintain a neutral position in the marketplace. Upon completion of the merger with Beverage Media Group, the combined company will hold 15 years of experience in managing distributor data electronically, securely and reliably.

"The industry has told us it is looking for a neutral, reliable and standardized exchange," stated Bill Slone, President of the Beverage Media Group. "None of the nation's distributors want to interface 20 different ways with 20 different services, and all of them are extremely sensitive to the security of their business data. Through The Beverage Network Publications, we are already interfacing with over 280 distributors in electronic format, meaning that there's already a proven standard to build from."
