The Beston Wine Industry Trust has acquired The Chapel vineyard at Coonawarra for A$2.7m. It is the first purchase for the Trust in Coonawarra and sees it obtain 37-hectares of mature vineyard, which was owned by the Wetherall family. The plan is to lease it to the National Viticultural Fund.
