Berry Bros & Rudd will release 5,000 bottles of the No 3 London Dry Gin Kingsman expression

Berry Bros & Rudd has released a limited-edition bottling of its No 3 London Dry Gin brand, to tie in with the latest Kingsman movie.

The pack, unveiled today, launches on the same day as the UK premier of Kingsman: The Golden Circle. A total of 5,000 units will be available either from BBR's store in central London, or online.

The gin has been bottled to "navy strength", the company said, which is 49% abv. The limited iteration retails at GBP42 (US$57).

Several scenes from the new film were filmed at BBR premises. "Kingsman: The Golden Circle includes scenes shot in the historic premises at No 3, as well as in the Napoleon Cellar beneath St James's Street," the company said.

Brown-Forman has also partnered with the Kingsman franchise, launching a 1991 expression of its The GlenDronach Scotch whisky, called the Kingsman Edition.

Earlier this year, BBR sold the single malt Scotch whisky brand, The Glenrothes, back to Edrington, whom the firm had initially bought The Glenrothes from in 2010.
