The Foster's Group wine division, Beringer Blass, has acquired a majority stake in the Australian wine business, Kangaroo Ridge. The financial details of the deal were not disclosed. The founder of Kangaroo Ridge, John Geber, will continue to manage the business for Beringer Blass. "Our partnership with John Geber is a perfect fit for our European growth strategy," said Beringer Blass's managing director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, John Philips.
