Belvedere has reported a rise in Q3 turnover. The French wine and spirits group saw turnover in the three-month period increase by 34.5% to €113.8m (US$147.7m), fuelled by a strong performance by the company's spirits division.

Belvedere said that spirits volumes were particularly strong in July and August 2004, due to the poor summer weather in its leading market Poland.

For the first nine months of the year, turnover reached €306.4m, an increase of 23.8% on the same period last year.
