Beam Global Spirits & Wine now has its third and final regional president

Beam Global Spirits & Wine has completed the appointments of its regional presidents, with Albert Baladi joining the company as president of the Europe/Middle East/Africa (EMEA) region.

The US-based spirits company, which is owned by Fortune Brands, confirmed earlier today (15 February) that Baladi will assume the newly-created position from 5 March. Baladi will join Beam Global from restaurant group Yum! Restaurants International, where he is the current managing director for the South Pacific.

Late last year, Beam Global expanded the reach of two of its regional heads. Bill Newlands, the president of its US business, became president of North America, covering Canada and Mexico as well as the US. Meanwhile, Phil Baldock, the managing director for Asia-Pacific, moved up to serve as president of Beam Global's Asia-Pacific/South America region, encompassing Australia, New Zealand, Asia (including India) and South America (including Brazil). Both expansions took effect from 1 January.

As the third regional president, Baladi will serve on Beam Global’s executive leadership team and report directly to president and CEO Matt Shattock.

Baladi, who has also spent time at PepsiCo and Procter & Gamble, will be based in Madrid.
