BBAG, the Austrian beverage group, reported today that its 2001 operating profit had experienced considerable growth this year, despite preliminary sales figures fell below expectations.   Although precise figures were not available for operating profits, it is thought it will be well above the €50.5m earned in 2000. BBAG said in a statement that turnover rose to €1.092 billion in 2001 from €937m in 2000.
