Baron Philippe de Rothschild has announced the continuation of its alliance with the Ryder Cup golf tournament.

The company said today that its Bordeaux brand Mouton Cadet will be the official wine of the 2018 Ryder Cup. The brand also partnered both the 2014 and 2016 tournaments.

Grandson of the baron, Philippe Sereys de Rothschild, also announced a special cuvée for the event, to be launched in March 2018. Mouton Cadet this year partnered the 35th America's Cup, for which Rothschild also launched a special cuvée.

Mouton Cadet is available in 150 markets, the company said.

The 2018 Ryder Cup will be the 42nd in its history, and will be played on the Albatros Course of Le Golf National, Paris from 28 to 30 September 2018.
