John Esposito, who has been with Bacardi since 2006, is set to vacate the North America leadership role, with Robert Furniss-Roe (pictured right) lined up to replace him, the company said late yesterday (12 July). Having joined the spirits company in 1989, Furniss-Roe moved from chief of staff & VP of global sales to become regional president of Latin America in January this year.

He will be based out of the company's Americas headquarters in Florida.

“We thank John for his drive, energy and commitment to Bacardi and the US spirits industry as a whole and wish him the very best in his well-earned retirement,” said Bacardi's president & CEO, Séamus McBride.
