Scottish-based spirits agency Artisan Spirits has launched its first owned brand, Cucielo Vermouth di Torino.

Made in partnership with Torino Distillati using Italian botanicals and aromatics, it is available in Rosso and Bianco styles, and is said to be best served chilled over ice, or in cocktails such as the Americano or the Negroni.

The art deco package design aims to pay tribute to the golden era of Italian vermouth during the 1930s, while the brand name is inspired by the annual migration of the cuckoo.

"Adding Cucielo Vermouth di Torino to our portfolio of brands which we represent, including the world-famous and original Angostura Bitters, Angostura Rum, Amaro di Angostura, as well as Portobello Road London Dry Gin, is a natural and complementary fit which we're confident will appeal," said Andy Holmes, founder and MD of Artisan Spirits.
