Diageo has made another share purchase. The drinks giant announced yesterday (22 December) that it has purchased another 750,000 ordinary shares to be held as treasury shares.

The transaction, through Cazenove & Co. Ltd, valued the shares at 729.816 pence each.

Diageo now holds 39,380,000 ordinary shares as treasury shares. The total number of ordinary shares in issue, excluding shares held as treasury shares, is 3,010,302,128.
