Anheuser-Busch is to sell its stake in CCU today (12 November), according to local reports. News from the Santiago Stock Exchange suggests that AB's 20% stake in Chile's leading brewer is to be sold by auction.

The sale is expected to reach a value of about US$300m.

AB's transaction is being managed by Santiago-based brokerage Celfin Gardeweg will manage the Friday auction.

"Tomorrow (Friday) at 9:15 a.m. on the exchange floor, Celfin Gardeweg will auction a lot of 65,695,333 CCU shares at a (minimum) price of 2,800 pesos per share," the stock exchange said in a statement.
