Anheuser-Busch InBev's UK craft unit Camden Town Brewery will release a limited edition lager in the country towards the end of this month. Beer 2016 has been aged in Cognac, Tequila and Bourbon barrels for the past 12 months. The launch is part of Camden Brewery's 'year beer' series, which started in 2013. There are 2,016 bottled of the latest release.

"Beer 2016 to me is a beer to sum up the year; something to remember all the great things that have happened over the past 12 months, encapsulating the memories of what we've been up to here at Camden," said Camden's founder & CEO, Jasper Cuppaidge. "Our yearly beers are one to hold on to, remembering who brewed it, the amount of time and love that went in to it. It's a way of looking back, keeping the memories intact and getting us excited for what's next to come."

Anheuser-Busch InBev completed its acquisition of Camden Town Brewery at the start of the year, in a deal worth approximately GBP85m.
