The US division of Anheuser-Busch InBev has unveiled the first details of its next Bud Light Super Bowl campaign - a three-day party in the run-up to the game, featuring live music performances.

Anheuser-Busch said the US activation, called the Bud Light House of Whatever, will host Grammy-nominated DJ Steve Aoki, with more names to be revealed ahead of the 1 February final. The activation builds on the Bud Light "Perfect Beer for Whatever Happens" campaign, which was introduced at the previous Super Bowl.

This summer, the unit transformed a US town into "Whatever, USA" for a weekend that included 17 performances from artists such as KC and the Sunshine Band and Vanilla Ice.

"Our fans have really enjoyed the 'Up For Whatever' activations we've done this year," said Alexander Lambrecht, VP of Bud Light. "House of Whatever will keep that spirit going.”

A-B traditionally has a strong presence at the Super Bowl, one of the premium marketing events in the US. During last February's event, it aired adverts for its Bud Light and Budweiser brands.

Super Bowl XLIX will be held at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, home of the Arizona Cardinals.
