A-B InBev has appointed its third North Europe president in five years

The head of Anheuser-Busch InBev's North Europe division is leaving the company after just over a year in the position.

Steve McAllister, who moved up to become president of the UK and Ireland unit at the start of this year, will quit the brewer at the end of March. He will be replaced by Jason Warner, the current global VP for renovation & innovation.

Details of McAllister's future plans were not disclosed.

"Steve has been with our company for over 25 years," AB InBev said, "during which he has had many great achievements in many countries and multiple areas, making lasting contributions to our business.

Warner joined the group in 2009 as the global VP for Budweiser, moving up to his current role in January last year. He previously worked for Nestle and The Coca-Cola Co.

McAllister's predecessor, Inge Plochaet, held the role for three years, from, January 2012.
