Drizly, which now has partner retailers covering more than 100 markets across the US, will be the exclusive delivery partner for the fridges, which use smart sensors and WiFi connectivity to automatically reorder beer when stocks are low.

The smart fridges, which are equipped to stock up to 180 beers, were launched in January 2017 in New York and Chicago, with the company pledging to expand availability to other US cities from June 2017.

"[The] Office Bud-e is an awesome innovation for businesses looking to automate their purchasing, and we're proud to make our network of best-in-class retail partners a key part of the equation," said Justin Robinson, Drizly co-founder.

Carolyn Littlefield, head of e-commerce North America at A-B, said partnering with Drizly made sense thanks to the company's status as "the leading tech platform for on-demand alcohol delivery".
