Anheuser-Busch InBev has released a short video that encourages consumers to engage with their neighbours and share a Stella Artois beer.

The docufilm, released this week, showcases A-B InBev's 'Stella Together Winter Sweater Pack' - a Stella Artois two-pack that serves as a catalyst for neighbour-to-neighbour friendships. The documentary captures what happens when strangers living in New York meet for the first time and share a Stella Artois beer.

The film was directed by Tatia Pilieva, who in 2014 released a short film called "First Kiss" that showed 20 strangers kissing. On Pilieva's YouTube channel, the film has more than 142m views.

A-B InBev said the Stella Artois film is part of its 'Moments Worth Making' campaign and aims to inspire people to "rediscover the joy of connecting with those that matter most this holiday season".

It is not the only festive ad the global brewer has launched recently. This week, A-B InBev launched a US Christmas ad for Bud Light, extending the beer brand's 'Dilly Dilly' campaign.
