Alsace Wines has launched a website focusing on the UK market to support its "Eat Asian. Drink Alsace" campaign.

The website,, includes general information about the wines, appellations and the region, as well as details about activities in the UK, food and wine matching suggestions and recipes.

A trade-focused section of the site includes press releases, a tasting tutorial and a press information pack.

Richard Kannemacher, marketing director for the Conseil Interprofessionnel des Vins d'Alsace (CIVA), said: "The key objective of the website is to talk directly to the consumers in the UK and to help demystify the wines, making them much more accessible and relevant."
