Aldercreek and Windy Ridge Vineyards are to sell around 680 acres of its land at a real estate auction.

The auction, to take place on 6 November, will be led by JP King Auction Company.

"With more than 30% of Washington's wine grape production grown within this area, Windy Ridge and Alder Creek Vineyards produce quality fruit that is distributed to boutique wineries nationwide," said Craig King, CEO of JP King Auction Company.

"Of the 19 parcels ranging from 20.15 to 80.63 acres, it's a unique opportunity for buyers to own a division of the property to establish an estate vineyard."

The vineyards are currently planted to 265 acres with the ability to plant out to 445 net vine acres.

Both vineyards contain Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Syrah, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Malbec, Sangiovese and Sauvignon Blanc.

Aldercreek and Windy Ridge are located in Horse Heaven Hills AVA (American Viticultural Area), which is a designated wine growing region in the US.
