Accolade Wines has unveiled a new European marketing director after the previous appointment left to join Moet Hennessy in South Africa.
Caroline Thompson-Hill joins Accolade Wines from Treasury Wine Estates
Caroline Thompson-Hill, a former regional marketing VP with Treasury Wine Estates, was announced in her new role today. She replaces David White, who left Accolade earlier this year to become Moet Hennessy's marketing & business development director for Africa & the Middle East.
"I am thrilled to have joined Accolade Wines and have the opportunity to work on such an outstanding portfolio of wines, including some of the UK's leading brands," Thompson-Hill said.
The new European marketing head joins Accolade from TWE, where she held a number of different marketing roles, most recently in its Americas business.
White was with Accolade for two years. His new role with Moet Hennessy is a return to the unit, which is the alcohol division of luxury goods company LVMH. White was previously GM of Moet Hennessy Diageo Singapore, a joint venture between LVMH and Johnnie Walker owner Diageo, which owns a 37.5% stake in Moet Hennessy.
