Cadbury Schweppes believes sales of 7-Up in the US will stabilise this year. The beverage has spent the last 15 years on the slide.

At the Reuters Food Summit yesterday (17 March), Gil Cassagne, president of Cadbury Schweppes Americas Beverages, said that 7-Up sales should level off thanks to the launch of 7-Up Plus last year and the reformulation of Diet 7-Up in the third quarter of this year.

"By the end of 2005 we are looking to have stabilised volumes, which after 15 years of decline will be seen as a moral victory," Cassagne told the summit.
