It was fun while it lasted. The drinks industry's love affair with plastic has been a boon to the industry for decades, but solid waste and pollution issues are catching up with plastic.

In Euromonitor International's health & wellness (H&W) system, Danone ranked fourth last year in the global health & wellness food & beverages market in 2016, based largely on Activia's strong position in fortified & functional dairy-based yoghurt and Evian in naturally-healthy bottled water.
