Price of Coca-Cola fizzes at Sotheby's

A bottle of Coca-Cola has sold for US$35.4m, making it the most expensive in the world.

Okay, it was a painting, but still...

The seven-foot Andy Warhol painting of a glass Coca-Cola bottle sold at Sotheby's in New York last night (9 November).

The piece of art, property of an American collector, more than surpassed the $20m-$25m estimated price tag.
