POLAND: Zywiec upbeat on H2 after H1 rises
Zywiec has posted a slight rise in H1 revenues. The Polish brewer, controlled by Heineken, said yesterday (7 September) that revenues for the first half of this year rose by 2% year-on-year to PLN1.35bn (US$424.7m).
Operating profit for the period was up by 15% on the same period a year earlier to PLN197m, with net profit rising slightly by 5%, reaching PLN135m.
Speaking to PAP Market Insider, Zywiec CEO Hans von Zon said: "We want to maintain the current growth trend in the second half, and we want to take better advantage of our brands."
