Pernod Ricard has revealed plans to launch a new campaign pushing its Orlando Wyndham wines. The French drinks giant announced the plans yesterday (3 February) when it revealed lower Q4 figures for its wine brand.

The advertising campaign will focus on Wyndham Estate, and will tell the story of the introduction of Shiraz to Australia in 1823.

Around £500,000 will be invested in the push, centred on one principle television advert on ITV and Channel 4. The advert will be backed by in-store advertising, and will hit screens in April.

Pernod Ricard said yesterday that its wine business had grown by only 0.1% worldwide in Q4, while its spirits brands were up by 5.5% year-on-year.
