RUSSIA: Vodka firm OST in listing plan - report

Russian distiller OST is planning an IPO for a 20% stake in the company, according to local reports.

According to a report today (21 September) in Russian business daily Vedomosti, OST has appointed investment bank Renaissance Capital to underwrite the listing, which could raise up to US$70m.

The report said that the distiller planned to use the funds to expand the business and to invest in marketing its brands, which include vodkas Stolnaya, Shustov and Bogorodskaya.
