Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated has elected a new vice chairman to its board of directors.

The company announced on Friday (27 April) that Henry Flint, who has been executive vice president and assistant to chairman since July 2004, will now deal with the finance and retirement benefit committees.
Coke Consolidated chairman and CEO J. Frank Harrison III said: "Hank Flint has served Coca-Cola Consolidated with distinction for 15 years in a variety of roles. We are fortunate to have him as a member of our management team."

Last week the company announced its quarterly dividend of US$0.25 to be paid on shares of its common stock and class B common stock for the second quarter of 2007. The payments will be made on 25 May to shareholders of record on 11 May.
