UK: Go-Go energy drinks: Viagra for girls
By Sarah Diston | 29 June 2000
We've all heard of, if not tasted, the latest energy drinks on the market. "A double vodka red bull please" is a common phrase heard at the bar, but how many have tried the latest Go-Go energy drink?Available in four flavours, Go-Go claims to be the ultimate action drink, there is Go-Go Kombat for those who need to find the get up and go; Go-Go Buzzkill to banish that nightmare feeling of the morning after the night before; a Go-Go Bliss to keep you going just that little bit more; and finally Go-Go Passion dubbed 'Viagra for girls', a blend of passion fruit, grape, mineral and herbs.According to Kate Head, spokesperson for Go-Go considering it was only launched in the UK recently they have had a great response."We've had great feedback, everyone seems to like the taste and those who have tried Passion say it definitely gives them more energy and activity."Apparently Go-Go Buzzkill is one for the colder months as it combines a zesty mix of orange, grapefruit and flu-busting Vitamin-C, and three cans a day definitely keeps the doctor away, according to the company.
