US: US$4m for Coca-Cola Bottling chief in 2004
Full details about last year's salary for the head of Coca-Cola Bottling Co. have been released. J. Frank Harrison III, the bottler's chairman and chief executive, received US$4.13m for the year to 2 January, a rise of 7% year-on-year.
In a definitive proxy filed on Friday (1 April) with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Coca-Cola Bottling said that, in 2004, Harrison received a bonus of US$647,756, a salary of US$690,301 and other compensation of US$673,240.
Harrison also received a long-term compensation payout valued at about US$2m for 2004. For the year to 28 December 2003, he was given a payout valued at about US$1.85m.
