A US investment company has increased its stake in Remy Cointreau. Arnhold & Bleichroeder Advisers announced yesterday that it had upped its holding in the French wine and spirits company to 10.04% on 31 March.

The US investor now holds around 4.48m shares in Remy Cointreau, and 6.32% voting rights in the company.

In January, Remy Cointreau announced that revenue for the nine-month period to 31 December dropped to €702.9m (US$888m) from €799.1m year-on-year.
