INDIA: UB appoints Grover Vineyards exec - report

UB Group has reportedly appointed the chief winemaker at India's Grover Vineyards to head its fledgling wine operations.
Principal winemaker and vice president of Grover Vineyards, Abhay Khewadkar, has moved to UB, a report in local business newspaper The Economic Times said today (5 September).
Khewdakar will join UB as senior vice president and chief winemaker, the report said. Officials at UB in Bangalore could not be reached for comment.
UB is said to be looking to make further investments in wine after snapping Loire wine producer Bouvet-Ladubay in July. The drinks giant was reportedly to eyeing a move to buy a winery in South Africa.
