Tropicana has said that its Florida facilities have emerged unscathed from Hurricane Charley. The company announced yesterday that both its Bradenton and Ft. Pierce manufacturing and distribution facilities were not damaged by the hurricane and are fully operational, despite significant storm impact south and east of the Bradenton facility.

"We have had some concerns expressed about the impact of the storm on Tropicana's operations," said Mike Haycock, Tropicana's vice-president of supply chain. "We're fortunate that neither facility was damaged by the storm. We are able to fulfil all of our customers needs without interruption."

In response to the hurricane, Tropicana is working closely with the Salvation Army and other relief agencies to provide donated product and other assistance to those areas hardest hit by the storm.
