US: Tio Pepe gets new US importer
A.V. Imports has added González Byass winery and its fino sherry, Tio Pepe, to its portfolio. The sherry brand will receive fresh support in the US through a national marketing campaign, the importer said yesterday (6 June).
"We are proud to have been assigned as the new national importer for González Byass and its high profile Tio Pepe brand," Melanie Losey, vice president of marketing at A.V. Imports said. "We are delighted that the González Byass family has recognised our capabilities and together the brands are primed for success."
"The US is a very important market for Tio Pepe and A.V. Imports is the ideal importer for the brand's continued success," added Felipe González-Gordon, regional sales director for González Byass. "We were very impressed with A.V. Imports' background and their strong belief in our products makes this new arrangement a perfect fit for both sides."
