Thai Beverage yesterday (27 March) reported flat net profits for 2005, according to local press reports.

The Chang Beer producer posted net profit of THB10.41bn (US$267.7m) last year, compared with THB10.42bn in 2004.

Earlier this month, Thai Beverage unveiled Chang Light and plans to launch two more brands this year to diversify its brand portfolio and capitalise on rising domestic demand for premium beer.

The company also plans for a dual listing in Thailand and Singapore, although a local listing may encounter further delays. The company said it would wait for the Thai parliament to pass a law governing the alcohol industry before listing on the Stock Exchange of Thailand.
