Suntory has teamed up with American model and reality TV star Kim Kardashian for a promotional campaign in the country for its Midori melon liqueur brand.

Midori's US distributor, Gruppo Campari's Skyy Spirits, announced yesterday (8 March) that Kardashian will appear in Midori's 'Stand Out' marketing programme, which will include advertising, social media and in-person appearances. The nation-wide campaign will run “throughout the year”, Skyy said.

Developed by Suntory, Midori means 'green' in Japanese.

Skyy Spirits secured the US distribution rights for Suntory's spirits brands back in 2005.
