SUN Interbrew, the joint venture between Interbrew SA and SUN Group of Russia, said it expects full-year sales in Russia and the Ukraine to rise by at least 10 pct from a year earlier, according to Belgian daily L'Echo. "The volume we sell this year will be in double (percentage growth rate) figures compared with a year earlier" said SUN Interbrew general manager Joseph Strella, according to the report. SUN Interbrew said earlier this month it made an encouraging start to the year with strong showings in Russia and Ukraine due to improved marketing and commercial performance, following the presentation of following first quarter earnings.
